I monitor, investigate and learn. Building my skills in security operations and writing about the journey along the way.
I'm a Security Studies graduate from the University of Belgrade, transitioning into cybersecurity with a focus on blue team work: security monitoring, detection and incident response. My academic background in risk assessment, information security fundamentals and critical infrastructure protection gave me the theory, and hands-on training through TryHackMe and Cisco Networking Academy is turning it into practice.
Before cybersecurity, I spent a decade as a professional athlete, competing at European and World Championship level. Elite sport taught me the things a SOC floor demands every day: discipline, staying calm under pressure, and treating every mistake as training data.
I've recently completed the TryHackMe AI Security path, and I'm now building hands-on experience through my own home SOC lab while looking for my first SOC L1 role. I speak Serbian, English and Russian, with basic German and Spanish.
